It is inflammation or degeneration of the tendon that attaches to the bony bit (lateral epicondyle) on the outside of the arm/elbow. A common cause in racket sports is poor backhand technique or a grip that is too small. This means the muscles in the elbow must work harder and become inflamed. It is also common among office workers, eg: using a computer/mouse with poor forearm support. What can you do?
