Sports massage is the management, mobilisation and rehabilitation of the tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments.

The techniques used by qualified sports massage therapists have been developed to give effective & efficient results. These benefits are gained from each massage given.

To benefit from a sports massage you do not need to be a sports performer as there are practitioners that work with a great range of clients.

For sports people it can be used to improve circulation and so muscle, tendon and ligament condition. It reduces the build up of lactic acid which reduces the stiffness commonly associated with hard training or competition.

Used regularly massage can be effective in the prevention of injury.
